Tech advancements these days for us common folk is at an insane point right now.
The options are vast, ranging from running a local LLM (Like Llama3 which I run locally with my notes in Obsidian) to handheld devices that scan nutrient values in plant tissue known as Spectrophotometers, such as a Nutriscope meter.
Spectrophotometry deals with the measurement of the interaction of light with materials. Light can be reflected, transmitted, scattered, or absorbed, and a material can emit light, either because it has absorbed some light and reemits it, because it has gained energy in some other way (e.g., electroluminescence), or because it emits light due to its temperature (incandescence).
Of course Tech does have some drawbacks, often it's associated with the cost of the equipment itself, the resources required to run the equipment depending on what you are looking to achieve and even subscription costs to gain access to the programs associated with equipment.
